Recession Proof Your Style – #1

In Today’s economy, if we can still call it that, everyone is looking for practical ways to save. Of Course, that means that some of our usual luxuries may be sacrificed. Fortunately for you, this series of tips, tricks, and dispelled myths will show you how reasonable style can be with just a little extra effort.

TIP: Think Versatile

We all want our own personal style to be an expression of our personality. Sometimes our choice of items that best reflect our style, can be so unique that they are not easily worn with the bulk of our wardrobe. When choosing pieces to give your look a little extra “pop” – Think Versatile. Instead of the pink & yellow pumps, opt for the solid pink pair with subtle detail. These can be worn with your classic black suit to work (add one accessory) or with jeans on the weekend. Remember, the idea is not only to save money up front but to get the most for your dollar. The pink & yellow pair may cost less, but if you only wear them once, is it really a deal?
